Johnny Depp, one of Hollywood’s box office big shots and one of the House of Hype’s favorite party guests, has three movies in pre-production and another two on the way! This busy bee will do a cameo in the big-screen adaption of “21 Jump Street”, will play the main character in a Tim Burton vampire flick titled “Dark Shadows”, and will star as Tonto, the title character’s Native American companion in Disney’s “Lone Ranger”. As if that weren’t enough, Depp’s production company, Infinitum Nihil, has teamed up with Disney on two more films in the works. First is a big-screen version of “Night Stalker”, which focuses on journalist Carl Kolchak who investigates deaths and links the fatalities to supernatural creatures. The other movie is a Paul Revere story focusing on the historical midnight ride from Charlestown to Lexington. Rumor says that Depp may even play lead in both of these pictures as well. We hope Johnny can still fit House of Hype events into his hectic schedule!
