Island Def Jam hosts their 25th/50th anniversary with a beautifully put-together brunch at the House of Hype. This buffet-style, multiple-course menu was catered by Michael LeClerc, one of the most acclaimed chefs in Park City known for his exquisite cuisine at top restaurant 350 Main, and included mouth-savoring shrimp pesto pasta and phyllo cups with almond mascarpone. A variety of celebrities came by to enjoy the food as well, from sports athlete Terrell Owens to music legend Billy Morrison. Before diving into the feast of food, however, celebrities autographed the red and white Vespas posted at the entrance of the venue, in honor of non-profit organization Stand Up 2 Cancer, which was later auctioned off for $2,500!

After 20 years, Magic Johnson steps down and gives Paul Pierce and Baron Davis the torch at Midsummer Nights Dream, a non-profit celebrity sporting event, sponsored by the House of Hype. Going head-to-head in Sunday’s basketball game, Team Baron and Team Paul included fellow celebrity participants Snoop Dogg, Brandy, Usher, Reggie Bush, and Terrell Owens, with Team Baron taking down Team Paul by a score of 50-42. Once players were tired of the court, they headed over to House of Hype’s hospitality lounge, where legend like Magic Johnson & Jermaine Dupri enjoyed the great presents gifted by Coby Electronics.
