World documentary “In Prison My Whole Life” takes a close look at the life of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a imprisoned political activist and former Black Panther member, Mumia Abu-Jamal, whose death sentence for killing a police officer was overturned in 2001 due to errors made during his original 1982 sentencing hearing. Paste Mag and non-profit organization Amnesty International sponsor its premiere party at the House of Hype, co-hosted by Colin Firth and his wife Olivia. At the House of Hype, Oakley sets up a personalized eyewear station, where supermodels Jessica White & Hester Libbey, and Oscar-nominated director Jason Reitman quickly snatch a pair of shades before heading off into the cold outdoors. Actor Jack Black, promoting his new film “Be Kind Rewind” at the Sundance Film Festival, inconspicuously escaped the paparazzi by hiding behind a pair of Oakley’s he also custom designed himself at the House of Hype. Out of the celebrity bunch, it was socialite Kim Kardashian, however, who got the most creative, designing her very own Oakley pink ski goggles.

DELL Computers was looking to collect celebrity content for their new promotion in support of Project (RED) organization. In turn, DELL sets up its own lounge at the House of Hype during the 2008 Film Festival, where celebs were encouraged to custom create their own laptops, while sharing on camera what they used their computers for the most and how it affected their daily lives. Celebs also discussed their thoughts and sentiments about AIDS and what (RED) was doing to help. Those that the participated in the DELL Lounge included Lucas Haas, 50 Cent, Danny Masterson, Adam Scott, Lukas Haas, and ‘Juno’ director Jason Reitman.
